Ariana Grande’s $14 Million LA Mansion: Luxury and Glamour Unleashed!
Ariana Grande is singing “Thank U, Next” to her Los Angeles home, which sold for $14 million on Wednesday.
According to the listing with Aaron Kirman of the Aaron Kirman Group at Compass, who represented Ms. Grande in the sale, the more than 10,000-square-foot residence is located in Hollywood Hills’ Bird Streets, a celebrity favorite, high above the city’s iconic Sunset Strip.
The 28-year-old pop singer had recently moved into the residence. According to listing records, she purchased the four-bedroom, six-bathroom residence in June 2020 for $13.7 million.
The property was constructed in 2018 as a spec home by the Woodbridge Group, according to PropertyShark records. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2019 that Robert Shapiro, the founder of Woodbridge, is serving 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to defrauding investors of $1.3 million.
According to the listing, the mansion features views of Los Angeles, the Pacific Ocean, and beyond, retractable glass walls, a wet bar, a wine cellar with space for more than 300 bottles, and a gourmet kitchen with a black silk granite island and Italian cabinets with brass accents.
The primary suite on the entire floor features a sitting area, two vanities, a soaking tub, and a walk-in closet suitable for a pop star. In addition, there is a media room, a fitness center, a sauna, and an infinity-edge pool encircled by a deck.
Matt and Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer, whose identity is currently unknown because no public records exist. The representatives declined to comment.
The Bird Streets, so called due to its street names, is a favorite among Hollywood’s privileged. Residents of the neighborhood include Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Jodie Foster, Keanu Reeves, and chef Bobby Flay.
Last year, Ms. Grande, who is known for songs like “7 Rings” and “Bang Bang” and for coaching on The Voice, also purchased a 300-year-old estate in Montecito, California. Mansion Global reported that daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia de Rossi sold the timber-frame property they purchased through a trust for $6.75 million.
