Tyra Banks, a former supermodel, TV personality, and real estate devotee, is selling her Pacific Palisades, California property for $7.895 million
Tyra Banks’ property in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood sold quickly.
According to listing paperwork, the former supermodel, television personality, and businesswoman paid the entire asking price of $7.895 million for the 6,160-square-foot home just one month after putting it on the market.

“This house has been’smized’ with a wow factor,” Ms. Banks said in a listing statement, using a term she coined on “America’s Next Top Model” that means to smile with one’s eyes.
A request for comment on the transaction, which was advertised on Multiple Listing Service before the new year, did not immediately elicit a response from Ms. Banks, 48. According to public records, she paid $6.995 million for the property at the beginning of 2018.

Sotheby’s International Realty-Beverly Hills Brokerage’s Heidi Lake and Rodeo Realty’s James Respondek both declined to reveal the buyer’s identify. Mansion Global was unable to determine the new owner independently since the transaction had not yet been recorded in public property records.

The hillside home has two offices, a cinema room, a fitness center, and five bedrooms in addition to six bathrooms. It includes wide-plank hardwood flooring, tall ceilings, pocket doors, and bespoke, hand-painted wall decorations throughout, according to the previous listing.
