Later this year, Max Verstappen (27) and Kelly Piquet (36) will welcome their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. The gender is still unknown to us, although it is almost certain that the two lovebirds already know the gender of their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together. Verstappen is clear about the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥: he will not miss a Formula 1 race to be there for the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of his first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.
Verstappen and Piquet have been together since the end of 2020 and have taken the next step in their relationship after several years as a couple. Last year it was announced that Piquet was expecting her first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 with Verstappen. A lot will change for the Dutchman, but fortunately he has already had some practice when it comes to raising a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 with Piquet’s daughter Penelope.
In addition to the human addition to the family, there was also an animal addition last year, as Verstappen now has three cats at home, Jimmy, Sassy, and Donatello, and recently a small puppy joined the Verstappen household: Nino.
Verstappen won’t skip a race to attend the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of his first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥
Although Verstappen is a real family person who likes to be at home and do his own thing, he is very clear about one thing: he will not skip a race next season to be there for the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of his first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. “I could of course skip a race, but I won’t do that. That’s not part of being a driver. So it could be that I won’t be there (for the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡, ed.). But we’ll see when the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 gets closer ,” said Verstappen.
Verstappen hopes to take home his fifth consecutive world title next season, but that will be quite difficult. According to insiders, next season will be one of the most exciting seasons in the history of the sport and there will probably be four teams (and therefore eight drivers) competing for the prizes every race weekend. Given the tension of next season, it is therefore a good thing that the Dutchman will not miss a race.
