General Hospital spoilers report we’ve known for months that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was going to die, leaving Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to pick up the pieces of their shattered life and try to move on.

Since her untimely death, there has been heavy emphasis on how much Sam did for Dante and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) — practically bringing them back from the dead when they thought they couldn’t go on after Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) fell into a coma four years ago.

Now, everyone has been expecting that Dante would naturally fall back in love with Lulu when she wakes up, but that’s going to be easier said than done with the depth of grief he’s feeling over Sam. Can Lulu bring Dante and Rocco back to life in the wake of Sam’s death, or won’t it be that simple? Is love even in the cards for these two exes anymore, or will someone else get in the way — again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Guilt And Regret Overshadow Lulu S’s Recovery

Dante may not be able to look at Lulu the same again, and that’s going to devastate him, but he won’t see a way around it. We haven’t seen him even pay her a visit since the liver transplant.

Can he think of anything when in that hospital but that the last time he was there was when he lost Sam? Will he take one look at Lulu and think that it’s Sam’s liver inside of her?

Will he irrationally blame Lulu for taking Sam’s life so that she could keep her own? He may not be able to entertain a relationship with Lulu without wishing Sam was still there — even if it may mean Lulu isn’t. This is going to pain Dante deeply, because he truly does still love Lulu.

GH Spoilers Claim History Always Repeats Itself

Back in the day, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) paid a young Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to do whatever she needed to in order to break Dante and Lulu apart — and it worked, for a hot minute.

Brook Lynn drugged Dante and staged a hook-up. It looked like they slept together, whether they really did or not.

We were led to believe they didn’t back then, but with the rumor circulating that they had a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together who was given up for adoption, we’re starting to wonder whether that was true.

If Dante and Brook Lynn were together in the past — and have hidden it ever since — does that mean there is a spark lurking between them that could be reignited, especially if Lulu and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) end up wanting nothing to do with them?

General Hospital Spoilers — What About Chase and Lulu?

Brook Lynn hasn’t told Chase anything about the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 she gave up. If she did, she would have to tell him who the father was. Then he would know his partner at work was also his wife’s ex and the father to the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 she has kept a secret.

If Chase learns that Brook Lynn and Dante both kept this from him, he may not be able to move on with his marriage to her or his friendship with Dante.

Moreover, Lulu may never forgive Dante if she finds out he lied all those years ago and he and Brook Lynn really did seal the deal — and then had a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 they hid from her.
