Dangerous Woman singer Ariana Grande is reportedly dating her Wicked co-star just days after it was announced she had split with her husband of two years Dalton Gomez

Ariana Grande is reportedly dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater following her split from husband Dalton Gomez.

The end of the 30-year-old’s two year marriage was announced earlier this week, however sources told TMZ that the pair officially parted ways in January.

Ariana and Ethan were spotted sitting next to each other in March while Michelle Yeoh’s Oscar win in London.

TMZ reported that Ariana started dating Ethan, who plays Boq in the film adaption of the hit Broadway musical, during production of the upcoming movie, set for release in November 2024.

Ethan, 31, was married to singer Lilly Jay, who he wed in 2018 and the couple welcomed a son last year.

Sources confirmed the Dangerous Woman hitmaker did not begin a relationship with the Broadway actor until he separated from Lilly.

An insider confirmed to TMZ that Ariana and Dalton were “heading for divorce” after the pop star was spotted without her wedding ring at Wimbledon over the weekend.

The outlet reported that the former couple remain friends and still talk on the phone regularly, however mutually decided to end their marriage.

The insider said: “They came to the decision together.

“They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.”

The insider also reported that Dalton visited Ariana on the set of Wicked and it “didn’t work out.”

They added: “They’ve been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them.”

It was recently reported that the singer’s now-estranged husband was left “devastated” by their breakup.

“Dalton has been devastated by it,” an insider told Us Weekly. “A separation is not what he wanted. He wanted the fairy tale, happy ending, and it’s not looking that way.”

It is believed Ariana is looking to “move forward” following their split

While it is believed the Thank U, Next songstress is looking to “move forward,” another source claimed that the 27-year-old real estate agent was holding out hopes for a reconciliation.

The insider told the publication: “Dalton is really hoping to make things work with Ariana. Despite the rocky patches they’ve been through, he isn’t ready to give up on their marriage.

“He saw himself spending the rest of his life with Ariana and will do anything to get past this.”
