Ariana Grande’s estranged husband Dalton Gomez has reportedly been “dating other people for months” as insiders reveal the couple are “shocked” no one caught on until now

Ariana Grande has reportedly been estranged from her husband Dalton Gomez for months as he “dates other people.”

The singer-songwriter, 30, and her husband Dalton, 27, have been married for two years but the pair are rumoured to have been separated for the last seven months.

It’s claimed that the couple separated in January this year, and it was suggested this week that Ariana and real estate agent Dalton are now “heading for divorce” after she was seen at Wimbledon alongside Wicked co-star Johnathon Bailey without her wedding ring.

She’s also made a huge statement about her divorce by removing her wedding pictures from her Instagram page, fuelling rumours further.

Sources told TMZ that Dalton has been “dating over the last few months,” adding that Ariana has reportedly been “fine” with it. The insider added that the pair are “shocked” that people have only now caught on to the couple’s separation.

“By January, they were separated, but still on friendly terms,” TMZ reported. “They began living separate lives until May, when they decided to take a shot at it again. That lasted 2 weeks before they both threw in the towel.”

The Mirror have contacted Ariana’s representatives to confirm the reports.

While it doesn’t seem like this romantic relationship is panning out for them, they are thought to still be friends. An insider told Page Six : “They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.”

Fans first found out that they were together in February of 2020 when they were seen kissing. Once the pandemic and lockdown hit, it was easy for them to continue building their romance outside of the public eye. Dalton did appear in two music videos for Ariana’s music, though.

Throughout 2020, they were very much public with their relationship, making various posts on social media. By the end of the year, Ariana let the world know that her and Dalton were officially engaged. He proposed with a diamond ring and a pearl that had been given to her by her grandmother.

In May 2021, a representative confirmed to US Weekly that Dalton and Ariana had gotten married in a small, private ceremony. Now, though, it seems that this chapter of their lives has come to an end since the once special ring has been left at home on multiple occasions.
