In recent years, award-winning singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has seemingly changed her mind about her vow to prohibit fans from seeing her tattoos.
After gaining worldwide acclaim in 2015, the Bad Guy singer has been slowly adding ink to her body.
In 2018, Billie told Vanity Fair she had just got her first tattoo but stated it would remain hidden under her signature style of baggy clothes.
In the past, the 21-year-old was critiqued about her outfit choices as she claimed she didn’t want her body to be the topic of discussion.
“It’s f*****g horrible,” Billie said on the double standard: “If I was a guy and I was wearing these baggy clothes, nobody would bat an eye.”

“There’s people out there saying, ‘Dress like a girl for once! Wear tight clothes you’d be much prettier and your career would be so much better!’ No it wouldn’t. It literally would not.”
Despite her 2019 statement to NME, Billie has seemingly ditched the baggy clothes and proudly displays her body on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the songstress showed off her chest tattoo with a rare bikini photo.
The day after taking home six trophies at the 2020 Grammy Awards, Billie told Rolling Stone, she had her name tattooed on her chest “in an ornate, gothic font”

Although it took three years for the ink to be publicly seen Billie informed Vanity Fair she chose her name because: “Yes, I love myself.”
During her red carpet appearance at the 2021 No Time to Die premiere, Billie debuted a new design on her left hand.
That year described the tattoo as her “little guardian angel fairies,” in a Vanity Fair interview.
As she added the characters are “from a book that I had growing up, a little fairy book called Fairyopolis.”

In May, Billie teased the top of her “big boy” dragon tattoo which peeked from the top of her low-rise pants.
Fans first got a glimpse of the mammoth design during her lingerie-clad photoshoot for the cover of British Vogue magazine as the creature’s tail wrapped around her thigh.
During the 2021 Met Gala, fans were able to get a closer look at the dragon as the singer’s upper thigh was on display as she took a step in her high-slit gown.
While she has already flaunted three tattoos Billie stated: “No, I’m not gonna be all tatted up, but I have some more ideas.
“Right now, I feel pretty satisfied. I feel like in a good zone with them,” she told Vanity Fair in 2021, adding that her mom “hates” tattoos. But, promised, “Give me a little more time and then I’ll get another one.”
