Could Avengers: Endgame’s Morgan Stark replace Iron Man leading the Avengers in Phase 4 of the MCU?
Avengers: Endgame has let us witness the death of Iron Man , making many people feel sad. Besides, fans are wondering what Marvel is up to when their third phase concluding movie Spider-man: Far From Home is out this year. That is to say, after the spider “goes far to return”, the MCU will officially enter phase 4.
But Stage 4 will not be like all the previous Phases. That’s because it’s the beginning of a whole new era in the MCU. So with that, they’ll need a new Leader to lead the MCU. And according to many, what better candidate than the daughter of Iron Man – the man who started it all.
Can Morgan Stark continue his father’s career?
Morgan Stark was first introduced in the MCU in Avengers : Endgame . After Iron Man was saved by Captain Marvel and returned to Earth, a few years passed, and we saw that Iron Man and Pepper Potts had a young daughter named Morgan Stark. Although he was only briefly introduced in Avengers: Endgame a few scenes with his father, Morgan’s cuteness still made a deep impression on the audience.
And you need to notice that, Morgan is very concerned about his father, didn’t Iron Man say that his daughter often goes to Iron Man’s garage. She was also seen with her father as Tony worked on the time GPS that the Avengers would later use to safely cross the quantum realm.
After Iron Man’s death, Morgan Stark will be the one to inherit all of Tony Stark’s assets and resources. This is similar to what happened to Tony Stark when his father Howard Stark passed away, he gave all his assets to his son.
In Iron Man 2, we find out the message Howard left for his son, in which Howard says that his greatest work is his son Tony. We also get a similar scene in Avengers: Endgame, where at the end of the movie, Iron Man says a final goodbye to all his friends, family, and daughters.
However, we still have to wait a few more years until Morgan Stark turns 18 and will inherit his father’s resources. What do you think about the future of Morgan Stark in the MCU?
