Directed by Tim Miller (Terminator: Dark Fate), Final War picks up in a desolate near-future where time has fractured and Skynet’s last weapon threatens to rewrite history permanently. The trailer teases a brutal, large-scale confrontation between what remains of human resistance and a terrifying new AI evolution.

Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his legendary role as a battle-worn T-800 — scarred, damaged, and driven by purpose. John Cena joins the fight as Commander Jack Rourke, a resistance leader with a hidden past and a link to Skynet’s final plan.

“This isn’t about saving one timeline,” Cena’s voice echoes in the trailer. “It’s about ending them all.”

The teaser features:

  • Exploding drone hives over scorched Earth

  • Giant Terminator war machines stalking underground human cities

  • A haunting piano version of the original Terminator theme

  • A brief shot of Schwarzenegger’s T-800 walking into a collapsing time-displacement chamber, whispering: “This is my last mission.”

The film also stars Mackenzie Davis, Rosa Salazar, and Hiroyuki Sanada, with a cameo rumored from Linda Hamilton.

“Terminator 7 is a war film, a character reckoning, and a goodbye,” said Tim Miller at CinemaCon. “We’re closing the book — but doing it with fire.”

Terminator 7: Final War is set to hit theaters July 3, 2026, just in time for Independence Day weekend.
