Real Madrid Receive Timely Injury Boost Ahead of Club World Cup

Real Madrid have received encouraging news as they gear up for their FIFA Club World Cup campaign. The Spanish heavyweights, who have been battling multiple injuries this season, can finally offer their fans a reason to smile.

Midfielder Federico Valverde and forward Brahim Díaz have returned to group training, marking a significant step forward in their recovery.

Both players had been sidelined recently due to injuries and missed the latest international break. The club opted to keep them in Madrid to prioritize rehabilitation rather than risk travel and competitive play.

That decision appears to have paid off, with both players seen training alongside their teammates on Wednesday morning.

According to well-known journalist and Real Madrid insider Melchor Ruiz, Valverde and Brahim participated in portions of the session under new manager Xabi Alonso’s supervision.

While they haven’t yet resumed full-contact drills, their involvement in team training is seen as a positive indicator of progress.

Valverde remains a key presence in the midfield, while Brahim offers versatility and creativity in attack—both are seen as integral to the squad.

Their return comes at a crucial moment, as Real Madrid are set to face Saudi club Al-Hilal in just one week. Having them back in contention eases the burden on a squad already depleted by injuries.

The club’s strategy to exclude them from international duty now looks wise, aiming to have them fit for this pivotal stage of the season.

With ambitions of adding another Club World Cup title to their collection, Real Madrid will be buoyed by the duo’s return.

The coaching staff will continue to assess their fitness in the coming days to determine if they’re ready for next week’s clash. Early signs are promising, offering hope to fans ahead of an important international tournament.
