Rising scream queen Jenna Ortega joins the chaos as Riley Quinn, a college journalist investigating the legend of Art the Clown—only to discover that the nightmare is far from over. As the trailer reveals, Art (played by David Howard Thornton) has returned from the dead, and this time, he’s not playing games.
The teaser opens with flickering VHS footage of past massacres before cutting to a blood-splattered funhouse. We hear a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥’s laughter warped into static. Then, Art emerges—his smile wider, his movements sharper, and his 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s more theatrical than ever.
“What if the joke was always on us?” Riley whispers in the trailer’s final scene, just before the lights go out.
Unlike previous entries, Terrifier 4 is being released by Blumhouse in collaboration with Cinedigm and Dark Age Cinema, with a significantly higher budget and wide theatrical distribution.
Leone promises a grim finale, saying the film will “close the book on Art in the most unforgettable and horrifying way possible.”
Fans can expect brutal new 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s, a deeper dive into the mythology of the Pale Girl, and a final confrontation that will leave audiences speechless—and likely nauseous.
