Los Angeles, May 24, 2025 — The claws are out — and this time, it’s Henry Cavill wielding them. Marvel Studios has just revealed the official teaser trailer for WOLVERINE (2025), introducing a bold new chapter for one of Marvel’s most iconic mutants. With Cavill stepping into the role of Logan, this reboot promises a darker, more brutal, and emotionally raw take on the fan-favorite X-Man.

The trailer opens in silence, with heavy breathing and the soft hum of a train moving through the snow. A man’s shadow walks barefoot through the forest, blood dripping from his hands. We hear a voiceover:
“They said I was the last of my kind. But I’m still here. And I remember everything.”
As orchestral strings rise, a flurry of quick cuts reveals intense fight sequences in underground cages, haunting memories of Weapon X experiments, and a scene where Logan drops to his knees in the snow, screaming as adamantium claws tear from his fists.
The teaser ends with a close-up of Cavill’s grizzled face, his eyes glowing with fury, as he growls:
“I’m not the hero. I’m what comes after.”
Cut to black. Then the iconic “SNIKT!” sound — and the WOLVERINE logo slashes across the screen.

Early footage suggests Logan is on the run in Canada, hunted by remnants of the Weapon X program and haunted by fractured memories of Jean Grey and Charles Xavier.
-
The teaser hints at possible appearances by other mutants, though no casting for the X-Men has been officially announced.
WOLVERINE (2025) slashes into theaters October 3, 2025, and will be released in IMAX and Dolby Cinema formats.
