Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s bombshell-laden testimony at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ criminal trial, set to enter its fourth day, has leveled serious allegations at the music mogul.
Ventura, considered the prosecution’s star witness in the 𝓈ℯ𝓍 trafficking case against the Bad Boy Records founder, alleged on Wednesday, May 14, that Combs raped her in 2018, the year their 11-year relationship ended.
Wednesday’s testimony also included mention of Ventura’s relationship with rapper Kid Cudi, whose car she alleged Combs wanted to blow up.
As Ventura prepares to take the stand again on Thursday, May 15, the defense will have its chance to cross-examine the woman whose accusations are at the heart of the government’s case.
Combs is charged with 𝓈ℯ𝓍 trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty.

Ventura was asked if Combs had ever suspected of her having an affair with anyone in the film industry while she was filming a movie in South Africa, referring to the 2016 film Honey 3.
“Mr. Combs suspected you of a relationship with whom?,” Estevao asked.“Michael B. Jordan,” Ventura answered.

During jury selection, potential jurors were asked if they were familiar with several celebrities, including the Sinners star. Jordan is not expected to testify during Combs’ trial.
Cassie Says No Drugs Were in Baby Oil
At the request of the defense, Ventura dispelled a rumor that 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 oil used during “Freak Offs” was laced with drugs, a rumor that had gained prominence online.
“You testified yesterday you would heat up the 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 oil and that’s the only thing you did to it, right?,” Ventura was asked.
“The pool filled with 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 oil would require a lot, right?,” a defense attorney pressed.
Ventura answered yes to all of it — seemingly in response to claims that he’d used a mixture of 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 oil and the drug Rohypnol or GHB on one of the victims.

As cross-examination of Ventura bore on, the defense asked her about Kim Porter, Combs’ long-time on-and-off girlfriend, and the mother of three of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
Ventura admitted that she “had some jealousy of Ms. Porter,” with whom she said Combs spent holidays instead of her.
“It upset me, it did,” Ventura testified.Kim Porter.

Porter, who died in 2018, had three kids with the Bad Boy Records founder: Christian “King” Combs and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs. She was also the mother of Quincy Brown, whose biological father is singer Al B. Sure! and who was later adopted by Combs.
Christian Combs and Brown have appeared in the gallery of the courtroom during their father’s trial. Jessie and D’Lila were in attendance Monday, but left the courtroom more than once during testimony detailing explicit 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual encounters.
Cassie Asked About Her Settled November 2023 Lawsuit Against Diddy

Ventura, who at times giggled at some of the nearly decade-old messages, was also asked if she believed if Combs was addicted to any substances.
“What substances? Opiates?” Ventura said. “Yes. He told me. And I saw it.”
Estevao also directly asked Ventura about the November 2023 lawsuit she filed against Combs that set off a wave of subsequent accusations.
“Fair to say his career was ruined after your lawsuit?,” Estevao asked.
“I could understand that, yeah,” Ventura answered.
Defense Begins Cross-Examination of Cassie
May 15, 2025 01:19 PM EDT
Ventura’s third day on the stand began on Thursday, May 14 with prosecutors having her read text messages and emails she sent to Combs over the course of their 11-year relationship.
The selected messages, many of which referred to “Freak Offs” or were apparent expressions of love sent during the early years of their relationship, seemed to be part of the defense’s strategy to portray Combs as a swinger but not as someone who coerced Ventura into the now-infamous 𝓈ℯ𝓍 parties.
Ventura acknowledged that she was afraid Combs would find someone else if she didn’t agree to have 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with him and and didn’t want to disappoint him, which is why she said she ultimately agreed to the “Freak Offs.”
“[It] felt special because not a lot of [people] had that kind of time” with him,” Ventura said.
Estevao began by asking if Ventura loved Combs while they were together, to which the singer responded by saying she did.
