In a major development for the 2026 Formula 1 season, Cadillac’s F1 team director has confirmed that Sergio Perez has officially signed a contract with the American outfit. The revelation comes amid months of speculation regarding the Mexican driver’s future after losing his Red Bull seat at the end of last year.

After struggling throughout the 2024 season, Perez found himself without a drive for the first time since his F1 debut in 2011.
