But Bruce Willis displayed a somber expression when he was spotted out on a drive in Los Angeles‘ Studio City neighborhood on Sunday.

The action film legend was taking it easy in the passenger seat while his bodyguard handled driving duties.

Bruce was dressed casually with a tan baseball graphic baseball cap and a gray hoodie.

His drive in the city came just days after his ex-wife Demi Moore, 62, gave her 6.2 million Instagram followers an update on his condition while celebrating his 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day with him, his wife Emma Heming Willis and his five daughters.

Demi wrote that Bruce was ‘feeling the love’ in her caption to photos of him out by the pool with her and their youngest daughter Tallulah, 31.

In another sweet snap, he leaned in for a kiss on the cheek from Emma while seated in the back yard.

The former spouses even shared a special moment in a photo in which Bruce smiled contentedly while Demi chatted with him.

Bruce and Emma married in Turks and Caicos on March 21, 2009, and share two daughters: Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10.

The Die Hard star has remained out of the limelight for the past few years as he continues to battle two devastating brain conditions.

In February 2023, his family revealed that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia — one year after he ‘stepped away’ from acting due to also battling aphasia, an illness that affects sufferers’ ability to speak, write, and understand language.

Emma’s followers were quick to like and comment on her post, and many were moved by her sentiment.

Emma’s sweet post comes just two days after she wished Bruce a happy 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day on March 19, as the actor turned 70.

Posting a photo of Bruce giving a double thumbs up as he stood on a quad bike, Emma asked fans to ‘flood him’ with love.

‘It’s Bruce’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that there’s no greater fan than a Bruce fan,’ she wrote.

‘So flood him with all the love today — he will feel it, I swear he will. You are one powerful bunch. I love how you rally for him, and I’m so grateful that he has you.’
