Leon Draisaitl, the alternate captain for the Edmonton Oilers, got engaged to Celeste Desjardins on July 11, 2024, while his good friend and teammate Connor McDavid married Lauren Kyle.
Now, Leon Draisaitl is planning to get married to Celeste, and preparations for the wedding is on. Celeste announced the news of her engagement on Instagram in July and wrote:
“The easiest yes. I love you forever.”
Celeste gave her followers a sneak peek of her wedding preparations on Instagram. She posted 10 photos and wrote:

On Friday, Lauren Kyle, who’s married to Connor McDavid, shared a lovely dinner experience at Leon Draisaitl and Celeste Desjardins’ home. She posted a picture on Instagram, calling Celeste
“Hostess with the mostest @celestedesjardins 🤍.”
The dinner table was beautifully set with flowers, candles, and a two-tiered cake, making it a cozy evening.
Before the dinner, Lauren visited Texas last week for antique shopping at Bader Ranch. She discovered several unique items, including an hourglass shaped side table, and shared her finds on Instagram.

The trip came after she had posted about her Canadian Thanksgiving celebration with Connor McDavid.
