The story follows a group of friends, each dealing with mid-life crises, who decide to recreate their favourite 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood movie. However, their jungle adventure quickly turns into something far more dangerous than they expected.
A new Anaconda movie is in the works, with Jack Black and Paul Rudd reportedly in early talks to star. Tom Gormican, known for The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, is set to co-write and direct this fresh take on the Anaconda franchise. Gormican will be teaming up with co-writer Kevin Etten to bring a comedic spin to the snake-filled story. While details are still emerging, it’s clear this isn’t a remake of the 1997 hit, which starred Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, and Jon Voight. Instead, the new Anaconda will offer a re-imagined, humorous twist.
