Jason Statham’s Net Worth in 2023: His Most Successful Projects from the ‘Fast & Furious’ Franchise to ‘Expend4bles’

Jason Statham is one of Hollywood’s biggest action stars. He’s best known for his roles in the Transporter and Fast & Furious franchises, and, most recently, The Meg franchise. And since starting his acting career in the 1990s, he’s appeared in over 50 movies and television series.

However, his success doesn’t just come from his work in front of the camera. Jason Statham’s net worth is also impacted by his work as a producer, stunt performer, and model, as well as his real estate investments.

Read on to discover Statham’s most successful projects and investments and trace his career from the start to the present day.

Jason Statham was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 on July 26, 1967, in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, England. Statham grew up in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth. His mother, Eileen, was a dancer, and his father, Barry, sold street goods.

Growing up, Statham played football (also known as soccer) in his local grammar school. And before venturing into acting, Statham originally pursued a career in diving and was part of the British National Diving Squad for 12 years. He also competed as a diver for England at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.

“I wasn’t actually in the Olympic Games. But I spent 12 years on the national squad,” Statham told IGN. “It was a great experience, you know, to travel the world and compete at a certain level. It teaches you discipline and focus, and certainly keeps you out of trouble.”

But after some disappointing attempts at the Olympic Trials and Championships, Statham decided to pursue modeling and acting instead. In 1998, an agent spotted Jason Statham, and his acting and modeling career began. Even during his time as a swimmer, Statham pursued a modeling career, modeling for brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Lee, Levi’s, and the French Connection.

“We chose Jason because we wanted our model to look like a normal guy. His look is just for right now – very masculine and not too male-modely,” said a rep for the French Connection.

Statham also appeared in some music videos, including Erasure’s Run to the Sun. To make a living, Statham also followed in his father’s footsteps and sold goods on the street.
