Ariana Grande is hot, and a bit sandy, in her upcoming music video for “Love Me Harder.” In behind-the-scenes clip from her video, Ariana is breaking free of her good girl image, throwing on some leather, letting down her ponytail and showing off her sultry side.
Ariana is seen wearing her signature cat ears on top of a giant sandbox (which we actually thought was a bed), before joining The Weeknd in a dark staircase, singing the catchy track back-to-back.
“Today our visuals are really about this tug of war of just loving harder,” director Hannah Lux Davis said. “And the compromise of giving in and needing more and wanting more.”
During the behind-the-scenes clip, there were some playful moments. Ariana takes a break from shooting to have an impromptu dance session with her brother Frankie, and they joke around in what looks like a sea of foam clouds.
No word on when the video drops, but Ariana did promise last week that it’s “almost done.” Until then, I will be watching the lyric video of the song, off Ariana’s My Everything, on repeat.
