And on Wednesday Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson revealed that Alexandra Daddario had been cast as Summer Quinn in his upcoming blockbuster film.
The 43-year-old posted a snap of him and Alexandra, 29, to Instagram with a message making the announcement.

The Rock and Alexandra co-starred in this summer’s San Andreas, which proved to be blockbuster gold.
Now the two are reunited for what many expect to be another hit.
The former professional wrestler wrote on Instagram: ‘IT’S OFFICIAL: Want to welcome the talented and gorgeous @alexannadaddario to the cast of #BAYWATCH for the role of “Summer”. Alex is a one of kind woman (I know from experience) and can’t wait for you guys to see her own the role.’
‘The female roles of #BAYWATCH have become extremely hot properties around Hollywood and as promised, the quality women we’ll cast are stepping into these roles to have fun and make them iconic for the world to enjoy,’ he continued.
‘The #BaywatchFamily so far consists of a tatted up bald guy named Rock, the cool, yet extremely unattractive Zac Efron, the talented and gorgeous Alexandra Daddario…and some big casting announcements coming soon.’
The Rock then teased another female role, soon to be announced: ‘And juuuuust wait til you guys see who we cast for the iconic role of “CJ Parker”….#CueSlowMotionRunningDownTheBeach #WhosPuttingTanningOilOnMyBack? #GetReadyForSomeFunInTheSun #BAYWATCH’.

A Baywatch movie has been in the making as far back as 2012 with Paramount only announcing it was officially moving forward in October last year.
Plot details are thin so far, but all reports indicate the film will be a comedy, and it is strongly expected to once again be set on the beaches of California.
Early reports claim the film centres aroound ‘a hotshot former Olympian butts heads with the leader of an elite team of lifeguards.
However Comicbook.com previously claimed the plot will revolve around Efron’s rebellious character teaming up with Johnson’s straight-laced lifeguard in order to save their beach from an evil oil tycoon.
Seth Gorden, who was behind Horrible Bosses and Identity Theft is set to direct the film, which Johnson also claims will be R-rated.
