Eight years after the tearjerking love story of Me Before You captivated millions, Warner Bros. Pictures has officially announced a sequel: “Me Before You 2: A New Chapter”, set to release in December 2025.
Directed by Tom Harper, with a screenplay based on a new original story by Jojo Moyes, the film follows Louisa Clark (Emilia Clarke) as she continues her journey of healing, growth, and rediscovering love after the loss of Will Traynor.
🎥 Plot Tease: Now living in New York and working with a charity for people with spinal injuries, Lou finds herself at a crossroads—still carrying memories of Will, yet unexpectedly drawn into a new relationship with Theo, a charming yet complicated architect played by Callum Turner. Just as she starts opening her heart again, a letter from the Traynor family reveals a secret Will never shared… one that could change Lou’s life forever.
“This isn’t just a love story,” says Jojo Moyes. “It’s about what we do with second chances—and how love can take different forms.”
