The Kapuso prized-talent described the moment as “speechless” when she learned that she was given the Bert Marcelo Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 . She posted on Instagram, “Thank you so much to all who make up the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. for this honor, I will continue to be a student of life and an inspiration to others… whose only desire is to bring joy to those who love tirelessly. Marian’s award-winning drama anthology ‘Tadhana’ marked it’s 4th year anniversary in November 2021. Through this program, the Kapuso Primetime Queen bagged the ‘Best Actress’ award in the 8TH OFW Gawad Parangal. The same award-giving body recognized the show and was awarded the ‘Best OFW True-to-Life Stories.’ In 2017, ‘Tadhana’ won the Television Journalism Award for Best TV Series category at the Migration Advocacy and Media (MAM) Awards and in the 9th OFW Gawad Parangal, it was hailed as the Best Documentary Show (for OFW Concern).
