Amy Mickelson Remains a Happy Wife: Phil Mickelson’s Indirect Update Says A Lot

If there is one couple arguably everyone adores in the golf world it is Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy Mickelson. The 52-year-old diva has been with Lefty through all the phases of his life, when he was a young and successful golfer on the PGA Tour and now as he spearheads HyFlyers GC on LIV Golf, she has been the anchor that keeps Mickelson ashore. In the past, the 6-time major winner has also highlighted how his wife has encouraged unity in his LIV Golf team by finding a house so that the 4 member roster could spend time together and become closer.

Talking about her idea and how she helps the team stay together, Mickelson said, “My wife Amy is very creative and helpful and (has) got great idea and so we’ve got good unity in our team.” As appreciative Lefty is of the love of his life, it would not be wrong to assume that Amy Mickelson is a happy wife as Mickelson likes to spend time with her and watch romantic shows. Golfer’s recent post on X solidifies the claim.

He wrote, “Nobody Wants This on Netflix is the best written and performed comedy I’ve seen in years. Great couples watch.” Lefty also recommended another show called Emperor of Ocean Park on MGM+ and said that it was an incredible drama to watch and both were worth giving a try.

If you are a couple and confused about the evening movie run, take these suggestions from Mickelson because he might be wrong about some things, but he knows how to make his wife happy. And as the saying goes, happy wife, happy life! And not just happy, Mickelson has always credited his wife for becoming the one support he always needed, even through the dark times when most around him had left his side.

Phil Mickelson’s pens a heartfelt note for his wife

A year ago, the renowned gambler, Billy Walters, published a book called A Review of Gambler: Secrets from a Life at Risk, in which he wrote that Phil Mickelson had wagered around $1 billion in the last three decades and 7,000 bets from 2010 to 2014. The book was published in August 2023, and in September of that year, after a month, Lefty posted on his social media and accepted that he had struggled with gambling in the past.

However, he also stated that after getting professional help, he has stopped the addiction and is now on the right path. Through it all, Mickelson did not forget to mention one person, his wife, Amy Mickelson. The 45-time PGA Tour winner recalled how, through his darkest and worst moments, his wife supported and loved him. He emotionally added, “I’m so grateful for her strength in helping us get through the many challenges I’ve created for us. Because of her love, support, and commitment, I’m back on track to being the person I want to be.”
