Jake Paul took aim at Conor McGregor in a brutal putdown video on social media after the Irishman mocked his next fight.

The social media sensation will face heavyweight boxing icon Mike Tyson on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas in a controversial bout that has divided the combat sports world. Many feel that the fight shouldn’t be happening, but others are excited to see the legendary Tyson return to the ring at 58.

One outspoken critic of the fight was McGregor, who recently ripped into Paul during an explosive live stream appearance. He claimed that ‘nobody cared’ about the event, and questioned how it was taking place at such a massive stadium.

Conor McGregor tears into Jake Paul as he criticises Mike Tyson fight

While appearing on a promotional live stream for gambling site Duelbits, Conor McGregor was asked about a series of topics in the worlds of boxing and MMA.

From his own UFC comeback to other top stars like Ilia Topuria and Sean O’Malley, he answered a series of questions. The stream was ostensibly about him showing off a virtual casino, but he also took time to give away money to fans as well as drink his Forged Irish Stout.

And when asked about Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul, he paid tribute to the legendary fighter, taking the time to smoke some of his brand of marijuana on camera. But he wasn’t so complimentary about Paul, declaring that he was not somebody of note in the fight game.

“Mike Tyson, this is your stock,” he said after promoting the marijuana. “I don’t give a b*****s. They’re wearing 14oz gloves and it’s two minute rounds. Who gives a b******s? I hope Mike rattles the little dope, no one gives a f*** about him. How is that even in the f***ing Dallas stadium?”

For someone who claims not to care about the fight, McGregor appeared to have a clear grasp on the unorthodox ruleset and location. And just moments later he seemed to contradict himself, saying that he “loved to see it,” and that after Tyson overcame a recent health issue he was “looking forward to it.”

The live stream produced a number of viral clips, with fans generally laughing at McGregor’s antics during the hour-and-a-half broadcast. While he did leak some interesting tidbits, viewers focused on his outlandish statements and outbursts.

And Paul took full advantage of the publicity he gained from the fight being mentioned, quickly releasing his own parody video. His comedic video was viewed over 2million times across X and Instagram, and showed him dressed in a black shirt like McGregor.

He captioned the post: “Conor Mcgregors crash out needs to be studied.” In the short video, Paul can be seen mimicking the Irishman’s methods and movements, while repeating his lines in a terrible Irish accent.

And he closed off the video by jokingly pretending that he was McGregor declaring that he is ‘still the f***ing king of this s***,’ before having to ask a teammate again to make sure in a much less brash tone.

Fans were in hysterics at the video, with one commenting: “Bahhhaha Okay that’s funny Fair play Good luck.” Another added: “Can’t lie, this is god tier from Jake Paul.”
