Danielle Deadwyler is set to star in and executive produce the Blumhouse thriller “The Woman in the Yard,” directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Scheduled for release on January 10, 2025, via Universal Pictures, the film’s plot details are being kept secret. Deadwyler and Collet-Serra previously collaborated on Netflix’s “Carry On.” Jason Blum and Stephanie Allain are producing, with Gabrielle Ebron, Scott Greenberg, and James Moran serving as executive producers.
Deadwyler, recognized for her role in “Till,” has upcoming projects including Netflix’s “The Piano Lesson” and A24’s “I Saw the TV Glow.” Collet-Serra, known for his work in horror-thrillers like “The Shallows” and “The Orphan,” brings his expertise to the project. He is represented by LBI Entertainment and Yorn Levine.
