But Miley Cyrus made sure to enjoy some well-earned down-time as she kicked back poolside in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday.

Slipping into a skimpy black halterneck two-piece, the controversial singer displayed her toned bikini body in all its glory as she posed up a storm for a fun Instagram snap.

Pouting hilariously towards the lens as she worked her magic in front of the camera, the 21-year-old pop princess showcased her washboard abs and taut, trim frame in the rather daring G-string number.

Accessorising her pool look with numerous gold bangles and of course, her extensive collection of body inkings, the We Can’t Stop hitmaker sheltered her eyes with a pair of stylish circular shades.

But while Miley had her sunglasses on, it was perhaps a case of style over subtance and a spot of wishful thinking on her part, with the skyline behind her looking decidedly dreary.

So much so that the fun-loving singer had taken it upon herself to draw a fake sunshine in the corner of her bikini shot, which she captioned: ‘Dallas hoes.’

Although the pop megastar seemed to be in good spirits as she made the most of a well-earned day of relaxation, she told her fans she wasn’t feeling too well.

Writing on her Twitter page, she said: ‘Why can’t I ever just feel good. I feel like I’ve had a cold since October.’

After performing at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday night, Miley will be en route to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she will take to the stage at the BOK Centre on Wednesday evening.

Not content with almost getting swallowed up by Ashley’s cleavage, Miley quickly spun around and grabbed her own crotch.

The pixie-haired blonde was pictured indulging in what appeared to be a vodka, soda and lime on a night out with her friends, including makeup artist Denika Bedrossian, stylist Jessy Cain and the gils from her opening act Icona Pop,  Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt, at the Underground club.

For once, Miley did not stick her tongue out as she was busy sipping on her drink while the other ladies posed around her.

According to People Magazine, the pop star sipped on Grey Goose and partied into the wee hours.

A source said: ‘[Miley] was in a really great mood. They showed up at around midnight and stayed until about 3 a.m.’

According to the magazine, Basketball stars Chris Bosh and LeBron James were also at the club sitting at a table near Cyrus.

For their night out, the singer also dressed far more conservative than her usual style.
