The 51-year-old pop star was also joined by her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith Thomas and photographer pal Ana Carballosa.

In her caption Jennifer expressed her gratitude to the Villa Tres Amarras ‘for the incredible stay while we were filming #ShotgunWedding !!!’

Her latest post comes five days after her fiance Alex Rodriguez posted a smoldering shirtless snap of himself at the same swimming pool at the Villa Tres Amarras.

The palatial nine-bedroom beachfront rental property has boasted a celebrity clientele including Mark Wahlberg and Michael Jordan according to its website.

It can host up to 24 people and in addition to its infinity pool it comes with such luxuries as a movie theater, a gym, a bar and a full staff including a gourmet chef.

Jennifer’s latest post comes just weeks after she and Alex denied a string of breakup rumors but acknowledged: ‘We are working through some things.’

There was conjecture in Page Six that the tension in the relationship was connected to claims made by Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy.

Last month on the Southern Charm reunion Madison admitted that she chatted with Alex online but insisted that ‘we DM’ed, but other than that there was nothing.’ She told Page Six later: ‘He’s never physically cheated on his fiancee with me.’

A source in Alex’ camp told the New York Post: ‘He doesn’t know this woman. Look, does this mean he didn’t DM her and liked a photo or two? I guess not, but he doesn’t know her – and he definitely didn’t hook up with her.’

Alex had been in the Dominican Republic with Jennifer during part of the Shotgun Wedding shoot but earlier this month he returned to Miami.

However one week ago a People insider said that he had traveled back to the Dominican Republic in order to be with his fiancee.

‘He flew back to spend a few more days with Jennifer. He is making a big effort, and he wants Jennifer to be happy,’ the source spilled.
