It’s a lesser-known fact that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham are serious design aficionados. The glamorous long-term couple, who also share two kids, are that rare breed of celebrity couple: ultra-famous, yet largely private and controversy-free. They may orbit the privileged celebrity circles, but they rarely appear on any gossip sites. And while they’re happy to share snippets of their jet setting lifestyle—Rosie sitting FROW at Paris Fashion Week, Jason’s Fast & Furious press junket in Rome, not to mention dreamy family holidays to the Maldives, you never see too much of them. And, if you’re an avid follower of Huntington-Whiteley’s Instagram you’ll also clue into her love of interior design.

From a 2023 trip to Antwerp where they met with prolific Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen to snaps of their impossibly chic Los Angeles home full of vintage collectible pieces from Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand and Charles & Ray Eames—it’s clear both Huntington-Whiteley and Statham know their stuff. And their second home, located somewhere in London (Chelsea, perhaps?), is just as impressive.

After moving to London sometime around mid-2021, Rosie was quick to share titbits of the design of her new residence. From design consultations with London-based designer Rose Uniacke to evidence of her armchair obsession, even the before shots (above) reveal the couple’s interior tastes, which lean towards clean lines and creamy neutrals. In fact, Rosie’s design tastes read as minimal and expensive as her enviable wardrobe, which is made up of pieces from Bottega Veneta, The Row, Celine and Saint Laurent.

The design of Rosie and Jason’s London home, like their Los Angeles pad, follows an extremely streamlined and pared-back palette made of white, cream and tan interspersed with pops of natural stone and timber. Everything—from the coffee table decorated with fresh blooms and Cire Trudon candles, to the artfully decorated plinths and glimpse of her armchair, the Tired Man by Flemming Lassen—is purely Huntington-Whiteley’s brand of understated luxury. Even her 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 bassinet was elegant!

For the model and beauty entrepreneur, who controls her own personal social media channel @rosiehw herself (also rare for a celebrity), posting to over 19 million followers is a fun way of sharing her world. “I’m taking pictures all the time,” Huntington-Whiteley told Ashley Graham in a 2019 interview for Graham’s Pretty Big Deal podcast. “I see inspiration around me everywhere. I see it through furniture, I see it through art, through galleries, architecture, fashion, film. And I just felt like, why am I not sharing all of these things that I’ve got countless photographs of? It’s nice to know that people respond to them. I like a cute grid!”
